Please Donate to The Furman Fund Annual Travel Scholarship
Please support the annual travel scholarships that inspire young physicians and scientists
July 12, 2011 — Interest and applications from physicians, scientists and allied professionals for The Furman Fund Travel Scholarship, which includes registration to the Heart Rhythm Society's Annual Scientific Sessions and travel expenses, is expected to be high for 2012. The goal is the support of three physician/scientists and an allied professional, thanks to generous donations. Please donate now so we can fund the attendance of four EP professionals at Heart Rhythm 2012, May 9-12, 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Furman Fund focuses on inspiring clinicians and students to further develop their careers, educating the clinical and lay community about the field of heart rhythm management and treatment and preserving the history of cardiac pacing. Components of the Fund include:
- Furman Travel Scholarship
- Oral History Collection
- The Electricity and the Heart website (displaying the history of cardiac rhythm disorders)
- Device Collection
- Rhythms in Time Exhibit at Heart Rhythm Place

About the Heart Rhythm Foundation
The mission of the Heart Rhythm Foundation is to enhance the prevention and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders by supporting the research, education and advocacy efforts of the Heart Rhythm Society. Its goal is to promote a culture of giving in service to this mission.
