August 30, 2011 — Rhythms in Time Poster Available; Foundation Drawing Winners. The Rhythms in Time exhibit poster honoring Brian F. Hoffman, MD, admired for his intellectual grasp of the entire field from biophysical studies of basic mechanisms through clinical studies of arrhythmias is available for purchase. Interest and applications from physicians, scientists and allied professionals for the Heart Rhythm Foundation's Furman Fund Travel Scholarship is expected to be high for 2012. July 6, 2011 — Rhythms In Time Presentation Honoring Brian F. Hoffman, MD. Brian F. Hoffman, MD, of Columbia University, is an iconic figure in the growth and development of cardiac electrophysiology as a basic and clinical science. Over the years, a number of leading EP contributors have trained and worked under his guidance and inspiration. The Furman Fund's latest historical presentation, created for the Rhythms in Time exhibit at the Society's 32nd Annual Scientific Sessions, is now available in the "Electricity and the Heart" section of the Heart Rhythm Society's website.

May 25, 2011 — Furman Fund Travel Scholarships Awardees Express Thanks. The Heart Rhythm Foundation is pleased to announce its first Visionary member of the Millenium Society, an elite level reserved for those individuals who contribute $100,000 or more.
