Sudden Cardiac Arrest is one of the nation's most devastating health problems.
Without immediate medical intervention following an arrest, 95% of victims
will die. While Sudden Cardiac Arrest strikes without warning, there are
factors that allow us to identify patients at risk and intervene before an
arrest occurs.
The Heart Rhythm Foundation, in conjunction with a task force of
electrophysiologists of the Heart Rhythm Society, has developed a
series of professionally focused materials and a risk assessment
tool that allows patients to understand their level of risk.
Download these materials to learn more about Sudden Cardiac Arrest how to discuss it with your patients. We encourage you join us in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest and share this information with your colleagues.
